Feeling Frustrated and Overwhelmed

I Can Help: Anthony Crocock

I am a Certified Critical Care and Flight Paramedic and started my journey in EMS a long time ago in Ireland. After graduation as an EMT I made the transition to paramedic initially working for the military which included missions overseas with the United Nations. After leaving the military I also left my home country and moved to the United States to hone my skills and further my education. While going through paramedic school and later through my Critical Care and Flight Paramedic training, I sometimes would get frustrated and overwhelmed with the amount of knowledge that was thrust my way and the minimal progress I was making in truly understanding what was really going on with patients.

As I became an educator in EMS, I noted that most programs were lacking the in-depth training to simplify the knowledge given to us, so we could truly understand what was going on. They were more focused in teaching us how to pass an exam, rather than to treat the true cause of why our patients were sick.

As time has passed this is more prevalent today and that’s why I have started this website. I hope that this site will help simplify things and give you extra knowledge and confidence to become a highly proficient EMT, Paramedic, Critical Care Paramedic/Flight Paramedic
